How to lead a free consult that gets you paying clients as a health/wellness coach

Your ability to invite people to work with you during a free consultation is critical to the health of your business.

Your ability to invite people to work with you during a free consultation is critical to the health of your business.

Getting clients requires effort, but it doesn't have to be difficult. I frequently see health coaches struggle because they try to do too much at once, particularly when it comes to marketing strategies.

Even if you have the best marketing strategy in place, if you don't know how to conduct a free consultation, you'll always struggle to attract paying clients.

We teach this process in-depth, to get on board, Click. here.

The right way to lead the initial consult is to focus on the client and be of service to them. You’re learning more about them and sharing how you can help. You’re focused on providing value.

Do this during the consultation: Take a bit of time to understand what your prospective client is going through by listening and asking the right questions.

Questions to ask and these questions are highlighted into five frameworks.

  • Break the ice

  • Make the call

  • Investigate their health issues

  • A call for commitment

  • Send out the invitation

A brief of what I mean:

Break the ice - Make sure you make the other person feels safe and comfortable since you're going to get personal. Ask how they got to know about you, just to break the ice and set the tone for the next thing to come.

Make the call - Once the ice had being broken, the next stop will be to ask them this, "What prompted you to schedule this session with me today?" Their response will give you a hint about what pain point they're experiencing.

Furthermore, explain the process, ... “ so glad this call was set up, Let me explain how our call will proceed".

  1. First, I’m going to get an understanding of what’s going on.

2. Then, I want to understand what you’ve tried already, what has worked, and what hasn’t worked (And two other crucial highlights) we teach this process in-depth, to get on board, Click here.

Investigate their health issues -When you're done with the structure of the call, start by asking, “Tell me about your [insert the main struggle that they shared earlier]”.

You trying to make them open up. During this time, what you have to do is listen up.

If they fail to share more, ask them follow-up questions. And another question.

The more they open up, the more you will get to know their struggles. At this moment in the conversation, you should acknowledge how difficult it can be to share so much personal information. "Many thanks for sharing!" I understand how difficult it is".

Some of the most important questions to ask are listed below, read till the end.

A call for a commitment-This part will determine if they're ready to solve their problem. To validate their readiness ask this "How important is it for you to achieve that on a scale of 1 to 10?"

It's critical to ask because you only want to extend an invitation to work with you if the person is serious about working with you.

Send out the invitation - This part is crucial to bringing them on board. Highlights what they shared with you, their struggles, and what they've tried.

This is the time to reassure them of a turnaround if they are willing to make that change and live a more fulfilled and happy life. Then gently transition into what you offer/your service...You could say something like, "There is so much contradicting information out there."

"It doesn't have to be this complicated. [ relate a story about someone you helped]. I know you can feel better, and I'd love to help you. Would you like to see what it would look like if we worked together"?

”Once they say yes, proceed in recommending your offers that will solve their challenges...

Something like, I will be glad to recommend this [insert the program that you believe will get them the results they are looking for] If you want deep details, we are here to help, Get on board now-click here!
